Team building activities and community building are an important part of the Outdoor School experience, and icebreakers helps you get to know your students and for your students to get to know each other. On the first day of Outdoor School at Loma Mar and Sempervirens, students learn about ACT. ACT stands for Attitude, Cooperation, and Take a Chance. Through various team building activities, naturalists and teachers can help students feel more comfortable together, improve social skills, and create an inclusive learning environment.
