Text Box: The Revival of ENH Summer Camp!
Text Box: Text Box: the parents to start calling. It’s exciting to bring ENH back to its summer camp roots and finally we can answer “YES!” to the kids who ask “Can I come back this summer?” after their week here at Outdoor Ed.

The ENH Summer Camp program will offer 4 basic camp sessions with a nature emphasis. We’ll be hiring counselors 18 years of age and older who have been noted as “superstars” at the Loma Mar and Boulder Creek sites this school year. Additionally, Text Box: EXPLORING NEW HORIZONS OUTDOOR SCHOOLS
Text Box: Welcome to our Winter newsletter! As always, many changes are afoot at the outdoor schools. First and foremost, I would like to welcome a new ENH Board member—Ms. Kathleen Means. Kathleen is a Senior Manager for Interwoven, Inc. She comes to us via her fond memories as a former ENH summer camp kid and outdoor education cabin counselor. Kathleen brings many years of business and PR skills to our board, along with her youthful enthusiasm.

On the flip side, we say goodbye to long-time Board member Steve “Buster” Hollister. Buster was one of our first members to not be employed in academia, and he did exceptionally well at bringing his business intuition to our meetings—along with some fine bottles of wine! Thank you Buster, for your many years of service.

Secondly, I would like to thank the Sempervirens Fund for their continual support of our newest program, The Sempervirens Text Box: Outdoor School. We are currently completing a long term lease agreement with SVF.

Finally, I would like to thank the many individuals and organizations who have given so generously of their time and resources, and I invite you to read on and share in our journey.

a non-profit organizationText Box: Greetings from Loma Mar! The weather in the redwoods has tricked us into thinking it’s springtime here, when it’s actually the middle of winter. And so we’ve been kicked into gear, already getting ready for summertime.

ENH Summer Camp plans for the SVOS site in Boulder Creek are well on their way…brochures are going out to the schools, camp staff members are being hired left and right, activities are being designed. We are officially registered on the web and waiting for
