Text Box: children were in a safe environment. Sometimes they confessed to their teachers, and we contacted Child Protective Services. Sometimes they were already in foster care, and I could only listen. But in every case I was able to tell them that, despite what is happening around them, despite the role they feel they have been shoved into, they have a choice in their life. They have the power to be any type of person they want to be. And there are many many great people in this truly beautiful world who are waiting to help them. And when these children suddenly feel a sense of hope, you can literally feel it, and then you know you have the greatest job in the world.

It is hard to ask for money. Even when asking on behalf of these children, someText Box: how it can still feels like an imposition. But we really need your help.

For the past three years, and through the generosity of donors like you, we have been able to offer $70,000 in full or partial outdoor education scholarships to over 600 underserved children. To maintain this ambitious level of support, we need your help. And even though our remit envelopes don’t have a box for a $25 donation (we’ll fix it next printing!), truly every donation is important!

So please use the enclosed remit envelope or our secure website to send in your support today. We thank you for helping us make this world a better place!

             - Don Kleinfelder, Executive Director
